Good people, I seek aid fic.

I think it was a McShep rewrite of the movie Volcano--as in, I know it was a rewrite of Volcano, and I think it was McShep. In any case, the McShep banter was awesome. And Sam Carter had a minor (?) role, and Rodney tells John, at great length, how awesome she is because she knows to call Rodney a seismologist.

It's driving me nuts, this fic. Heeelp!

ETA: Found! by sorchasilver . It was, shockingly, a fic called Volcano. Huh.

Why This Must Be Read: This AU is just such a great read. It unfolds in a wonderfully humorous way, with all our favourite SGA characters having appearances in this Ski-based universe. Rodney's voice in particular is spot-on. I generally love Stargate Atlantis AU anyway, but this is one I've re-read many times already, because it just feels *good* to read.

Why This Must Be Read: This story is a very fun look at how falling in love can be remarkably like falling up the stairs - it takes a strange combination of luck, effort, and pain to make it happen. This is a great John story (though told from Rodney's perspective) because it shows how utterly inscrutable John can be, especially to Rodney, and how obvious he *really* is at the same time.

I come seeking fic. I only remember one scene, but it's a relatively new fic. It was McKeller that ended (I think) as Mcshep. All I can remember is that Rodney would only go to see and hang out with John when Keller was busy. John is really hurt about it and they end up having a fight. Does anyone remember this?

1. Where an Ancient device "lets" John experience several alternate universes where he remembers different histories, including meeting Ronon on a hive ship. In the last visit he comes home to a Rodney he's been with for a whole after weeks on Earth and Rodney jumps him. Things are a bit weird after John comes to back in the real universe, until they almost have a conversation about Rodney's ability to speak Russian and A Fish Called Wanda that John remembers remembering from the universe where they were together.

2. John and Rodney are in the mess and Rodney is apologising for or dealing with a scientist who has had a bad day and (almost) destroyed something. John asks Rodney what happens when Rodney has a bad and Rodney says, "Don't you remember Doranda?" or something to effect.

3. The one where John give Rodney a massage on the floor of a jumper. He manages to get him out of his clothes first, and eventually says, "Please tell me where on the same page here," before the sex happens.

Hey Gang! Happy Holidays!

I am looking for a fic...a long fic. It's based off sentinel but really au.

Chris, Nathan, Josiah, and Buck are genetically altered Humans, Ez, JD, And Vin are not. Vin is a Sentinel (Chris's race calls them 'The Nose') and he and Chris(guide) are forced to bond or Chris's race will kill Ez and JD(both guides,Ez is a strong but damaged one and JD is weak)

Turns out Buck is a sentinel too although weaker than Vin and Vin says the reason woman like Buck so much is because he smells like chocolate.

Vin,Ez,and JD are treated as lesser creatures and the others are at one point forced by the law or whatever to put a collar on them after which the three start wasting away somewhat till they make the law see them as a bonded pair and Ez, and JD are packmates/teammembers.

I know some of this is a little off. But going from memory and it's been a while.

I need the title / link / author, whatever you guys can get me. Really would like to read it again.

There was this really short AU McShep drabble, that, far as I know, wasn't attatched to any longer story. I remember John (who was really rich, I think) had bought Rodney some jewelry (cufflinks, I believe) and Rodney threw them at him and said, "You don't have to buy me", or something.



I have a suspicion it might've been a comment drabble, but I have no idea where I saw it. It's at least about a year old, possibly even more.

Because we all deserve a little Christmas season Sparky romance and fluffy goodness; a fun little fic about Atlantis and Sparky during the holidays. *grin*

I've been looking for the story for like almost forever it seems. The basis is that a long time ago, the gou'auld altered the humans of earth and they went into these "heat cycles" And you had to have sex with a compatible person or you might die or just get really sick. John had been suppressing his cuz he didn't like the loss of control (surprise surprise!). And Rodney was what was called a universal receiver which meant he was compatible with everyone. They met on atlantis and start a relationship. Only to find that Atlantis, where the cycles didnt affect them for some scientific reason, was slowly changing its environment to fi earth's and people were going into heat all over the place. Teyla and Ronon were totally freaked because they weren't altered like the tauri were.

I hope someone knows what i'm talking about and can help.
